The Scrake can outrun any player when enraged.If there is no Support class, then it is advised that all players lay a barrage of bullets (and other melee weapons) down upon the Scrake to minialise the damage he can do. This weapon is a Scrakes worst nightmare, as it propells shrapnel through the ZEDs it can bring a Scrake down without it harming any players. Having a Support class in your team to tackle this monster of a ZED is incredibly useful, as by the time they come along it is usually possible to have obtained the AA-12 Auto Shotgun. With several melee attacks that can cause a lot of damage to players, the Scrake is a force to be reckoned with. Which is a VERY HIGH chance compared to common. I would say that all 5 vault crates you actually get a precious/gold item, that is at least my experience. Precious items are 'kind of rare' but actually not as rare as from the other crates. It has a lot of health and is capable of out running a player once it has taken enough damage. Its from the vault crate series, like all items obtained from those. The table below shows the experience points a player will gain on each difficulty upon killing a Scrake. There pops the next wave indicator with the text, 'Scrake Round' or something along those lines. Was around wave 10-13 iirc and we just finished restocking ourselves. Few minutes ago while I was playing like the casual I am in 'hard' difficulty: Endless, 6 players average lvl 12 except one level 25 zerk, Outpost. The Scrake is a special enemy found in Killing Floor 2.
